This is my granddaughter Maya Louise Sams "throwing" a top on International Top Spinning Day - October 14th, 2009. Remember that she is 27 months old! She actually did her best to copy what Grandpa Don had done to spin the top. She sort of wadded the string up around the top and actually threw it. Not too clear in the picture, but the top is in the air..... making it International Top Throwing Day for Maya!Go here for more info on the event, and to submit your own picture!
