Kind of looks like something from a science fiction movie? It is actually a tiny weevil on one of our peonies!
Evidently black vine weevils like to eat peonies, along with strawberry plants, begonia, lilacs, etc. I hope we don't have a major problem here, but in the meantime these little guys are sort of cute? Click on the picture for a closer view.
